    The Montechoro I and II Photovoltaic Power Stations, operated by IBERDROLA, are in the parish of Paderne, municipality of Albufeira. Montechoro I Photovoltaic Power Station will have an installed peak power of 11.57 Mwp and a grid connection power of 10 MVA over an area of 14.3 ha. The Montechoro II Photovoltaic Power Station will have an installed peak power of 24.96 Mwp and a grid connection power of 20 MVA over an area of 27.3 ha.

    BoG was the company responsible for the development of the descriptor “Human Health” for the environmental impact assessment. This specifically refers to the profiling of the reference situation, the evaluation of impacts, and the establishment of impact minimisation measures. The EIA was approved on 25 May 2021 with a conditional favourable opinion.
