The Etikapun project, which was executed between 2016 and 2020 in the Urok Islands, Bijagós Archipelago, aims to promote a development model for the islands’ Community Marine Protected Area, which operates on three key pillars: population, culture, and biodiversity.
BoG led the evaluation process at all stages. These stages covered the preparation of the evaluation including the development of tools for data collection; evaluation of the project according to OECD-DAC criteria and in line with the specific requirements of the European Union on consistency, complementarity, and added value for the population; data analysis; and preparation of the final project report.
